If you find they moan that it is not fast enough then remind them of the safety aspects that go with go-karting. You will find that if young children get nervous they will not always do the right thing and can even end up pressing the accelerator rather than the brake pedal.

This is the main reason that you must make sure you fit a speed restrictor for a child. The next thing to worry about is that everyone driving is wearing a correctly fitted crash helmet. You need to make sure that they haven't deteriorated over time by sitting in hot weather or if indeed they have been in any previous accidents.

If they have sat in the exposed sun too long then it could damage the structural integrity of the helmet.
